Family Planning Advocates of New York State is a non-profit
statewide membership organization dedicated to protecting and expanding

Dr. John S. Rolland, is Clinical Professor of Psychiatry
and Co-Director of the Center for Family Health at the University
of Chicago and its affiliate post-graduate family and couples therapy
training institute the Chicago Center for Family Health. Previously,
he was the Founder and Director of the Center for Illness in Families
at Yale University, where he currently remains on faculty as Lecturer.
He is widely recognized for his conceptual model, clinical work,
and research with families facing serious physical disorders. He
is the author of Families, Illness, and Disability: An Integrative
Treatment Model and co-author on a forthcoming edited book titled:
